Trip to the butterfly park

Keona is learning about life cycles in science,so we decided to go to the Bali Butterfly park so she could see the butterfly life cycle first hand.It was about an hours drive to get there, through very picturesque villages,with rice fields in various stages of their life cycle,as well as banana plantations and chili plants.Everything looked so luscious, and peaceful.We arrived at the Butterfly park, and the car park was totally deserted,so I was a bit apprehensive of what would be inside.I thought it would be really run down, and poorly managed, but I was pleasantly surprised,it was extremely well maintained, and the staff were incredibly helpful and informative.Keona and I wandered through the lush grounds, admiring the plants and butterflies as we went.The first butterflies that caught our eyes were a bright yellow and black color, there were 2 of them,darting around in between the leaves of the trees.We…
